Hello, I am Jess. I live in Bristow with my husband and am a Graphic Designer. I grew up in Nokesville with several large dogs and have always loved helping neighbors with their pets while away. I understand the importance of finding a trustworthy pet sitter so you can relax knowing your fur baby is getting the best care while you’re away. I love animals and can’t wait to meet your pet. Ramsey (or Rams) is my sweet and faithful 11 year old yellow lab who lives for playing fetch with his frisbee, long walks, and the lake. He is pictured here with his cousin, Frank (black lab).
Pat W - PetSaver™, Pet CPR and First Aid Certified
I couldn't resist any longer; I am now embarking on a job that I love - walking, playing, and running with furry pets. I love animals, and the experience is mutual when given the opportunity. As I transition from military service to my Veteran status; Happy Paws lets me help out either with my wife Stacey or solo. Our house is filled with 5 children and 3 pets - Zola (rescue dog), Cash (Daughter's Dog), and Duke (Scottish fold cat - who thinks he rules the house). I am so excited for the chance to spend some time to relax and play with your pet.

See you around the neighborhood.
Hi There! My name is Cathy and I'm a wife, mother, veteran and birth doula. Over the past 32 years, I have had the great honor of sharing my life with five amazing dogs - to include a show dog, an agility champ, a certified therapy dog and a beautiful rescue. I've learned so very much from each of them. I'm so happy to get to be a part of the wonderful Happy Paws team where pets are taken care of like they're one of our own. I greatly look forward to spending time with your sweet, furry treasures!
Hey there, I’m Justin, Dad to 3 active boys and 1 “little” girl, Nala, our South African Boerbel. I have been around dogs my whole life but am a true lover of all animals. My full-time job has allowed me the flexibility to join the Happy Paws team and I can’t wait to meet your pets and give them the love and attention they need!
Good day! I'm Mike. I was born and raised in Pittsburgh and am a proud Penn Stater (sorry, Larry!) and a Mechanical Engineer / Project Manger for a top engineering firm. I’ve been in NoVA since college and in 2017 married into a family with a very energetic and very inquisitive English Lab named Crosby (see photo). I’ve always been a pet lover and love the opportunities to make new furry friends through Happy Paws!
Hi y'all! My name is Brenda and I've lived in NoVA for 18 years but I'll always be a Texan at heart. Yes, that means I cheer for the Cowboys! I've been in Customer Service Management most of my adult life but have been blessed to stay home to care for my three children for the last 8 years. During that time I became a Realtor so I make my own schedule and love to take care of my friends & neighbor's fur babies in my free time. My husband calls me the animal charmer. I have a soft spot for all of God's creatures and have been known to bring home a stray or two (cats, dogs, fish, mice, even a rat!). Along with my three kids, I'm also Mom to two cats, a Golden Retriever, a Portuguese Water Dog, a guinea pig and two gerbils. I have a lot of experience with llamas, goats, mice, birds and chickens as well. Before I was a part of the Happy Paws team I was a client and am now excited to be able to provide the same amazing service to others and their animal babies!

Bio coming soon!
Hi there! My name is Sara and was raised here in Bristow, Virginia. I am currently going into my third year at VCU to get my B.S. in Biology and will hopefully go on to attend Medical school. I unfortunately didn’t get to own any furry friends as I was growing up. Though, I have been lucky enough to have my Uncle, who lives just down the street, let me spend lots of time with his dogs, Ollie, a white Lab, and Bruce, a Doberman and German Shephard mix. After being their dog walker for these last couple of years, I am supper excited to join Happy Paws and help out to provide the very best care for even more amazing pets. I am trustworthy, hardworking, and compassionate and looking forward to giving lots of care and attention to your pets!"
Hi fellow furry friend lovers! My name is Mykala and I am currently a college student pursuing a Masters in Elementary Education. I absolutely love animals of all shapes and sizes, but especially dogs! I have one rescue dog of my own, named Harley, and she is the light of my life! I also have one cat named Kitty, a classic name, that I have had for 17 years, and she is still kickin’! I don’t have much free time, but when I have a second I like to spend it with my dog either walking her or playing with her, so I am so excited to now have a job where I get to play with and walk dogs all day! I am so honored to be apart of the Happy Paws team and can’t wait to love your pets as much as you do!

Hi my name is Yvonne and I have been a pet lover since I was a little girl. I grew up with dogs and cats my whole childhood and love how they can co-exist and be best buds. I have volunteered with a local rescue for over 15 years and recently started my own cat rescue with my husband Frank in June 2017. Our rescue is Must Love Cats Rescue and we are so happy to be able to save homeless cats and kittens and also pull them from shelters to give them a better chance at finding their furever homes. We have one dog, Varly, a Bischon Frise and recently said goodbye to our 9 year old black lab Vader who suffered from a brain tumor. I do work full time as a Regional Director for Cadence Education and I oversee 4 preschools in Virginia and 3 in Pennsylvania. My passions are children and animals so I am blessed to be able to do both with the support of my family. I have two children, both boys, ages 10 and 15 who are actively involved in our rescue and love animals too! I also have two step-children, both girls, that are ages 6 and 9 years. I love to be busy and advocate for animals and look forward to meeting your furry family members too!

Hi! My name is Melanie, and I live in Manassas Park with my husband and our two precious pups. Wiley is a good 'ole hound dog and Foxy, well she's definitely a mutt but looks just like a fox! Eventually, our goal is to live on a small farm homestead with lots more dogs, a cat or two, and as many goats, chickens, alpacas (?!?!) and other farm animals as we can fit! There is a quote that says “Don't ask yourself what the world needs. Ask yourself what makes you come alive, and go do that, because what the world needs is people who have come alive.” I spent a lot of my 20s trying to do things I thought the world needed. Now I'm in my 30s and I'm determined to focus on the things that make me come alive. Taking care of animals, especially dogs, happens to be one of those things. I'm so excited to be a part of the Happy Paws team, and I look forward to showering your cuddly canine companions, your furry feline friends, and all your adorable animals with as much love, care, and attention as I do my own two lovable pups.
Hi there, my name is Brad! I have lived in Great Falls, VA for all of my life until August of 2018 when I moved to Bristow with my Fiancee. I was basically raised at a barn part time. I have gain a ton of experience caring and being with animals because of this. I absolutely love anything to do with dogs, and I have always had them around my whole life. Growing up I had dogs, cats, chinchillas, guinea pigs, lizards, fish at my house. A fun fact is that at some of the barns my mom has worked with I help take care of horses, giraffes, and zebras. I absolutely can’t wait to meet your furry and non furry friends!
Newly retired educator and empty nester with new adventures ahead! First up - joy in helping others, especially children and animals! Happy Paws is the ONLY pet service I would feel comfortable leaving my dog Sven while working or vacationing, so why not work for such a loving, honest, professional and caring company!? Looking forward to showering your pet with love and eradicating the stressors of a family not home. Very excited to start a new phase in life with the Happy Paws team!
Hi my name is Angie! I have been working at an animal hospital for 13 yrs and also have experience with training dogs. I have a Morkie name Sakara, a Pit Mix name Bat and three cats - Brain, Pinky and Romy. I love my babies very much! I also help my friend out with a rescue called A3P. I love helping animals in need of finding a good loving home.
Hello all, my name is Jess and I grew up in Loudoun County, where I returned after college. I love animals, and am very lucky to have been rescued by my sweet boy pictured to the left, Chance. He is a 6 year old German Shepherd/Shar Pei mix. I grew up my whole life with two different K9 German Shepherds. They sparked my love for dogs, and all animals, as my family has had dogs, cats, sheep, goats, chickens, a bunny, and fish over my childhood. I am a full time teacher, and I’m so excited to be able to do something so fun for a summer job. I played basketball in college, and I desperately miss playing every day, so I try and keep busy by playing in a couple adult leagues and pick-up games whenever possible. I’m dedicated to making sure that all animals I come in contact with are treated as if they were my own babies. I look forward to having a great summer with your pets.
Hi there! I’m Sally. I’m the mother of four girls, ages 13, 11, 6 & 4, and to Bosley the Wonder dog, a black lab mix. Hello, my name is Susan and as you can see I am a dog lover. Pictured with me are my two favorite German Shepherds. Sarge is our 7 year old rescue and Gunnar is our 3 year old Grand Dog. I have chosen to join Happy Paws because I love dogs and enjoy walking outdoors. Dog walking is a great form of exercise and it also lets you get acquainted with your neighbors. I retired 3 years ago after working as a Dental Assistant for 19 years. Helping out with Happy Paws is a great chance to bring exercise and pleasure to family pets who have been at home all day while their families are busy at work, school, or on vacation.
Hey guys, my name is Chelsea! I am a college student working to obtain my bachelors degree in accounting. I spend my weekdays working at a local insurance company. I am always willing to help an animal in need and so I try and help Happy Paws whenever they need me! My natural talent lies with dogs but I love all animals. When I'm not with your animals I can be found with my own dogs, Cash and Sutton, my black and brown labs. As a pet owner myself I know the struggles and stress of putting your furry family member in the care of someone else but rest assured they are safe with me! I can't wait to meet you all.

Hi there! My name is Michelle, and I'm currently a stay-at-home mom of an 11-year-old daughter. We've lived in Bristow and Haymarket for the past 9 years, but I'm originally from Dallas, Texas. I've loved animals my entire life, and our house is currently home to our cats, Higgins (15) and Pumpkin (7), and our dog, Dizzy (8). I also love working with horses, although it's been several years since I've had my own. Our pets are true members of our family, and I know what it's like to want them to be happy and healthy while we're away.
I'm Erin, currently a stay-at-home mom of a two-year-old and an eight-month-old. I am also an elementary school teacher and previously a marketing manager. My husband and I have lived in Bristow for eight years. We are also the proud parents of a nine-year-old Cockalier (Cocker Spaniel and King Charles Cavalier Spaniel mix), Pumpkin. I am a bit more behind the scenes at Happy Paws, performing administrative tasks in the office.
